PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Project GOAL is pleased to announce that Kelvin Castillo De Las Salas, has been selected to play for the New England Revolution Under-16 team. Kelvin was selected, along with 22 other boys from across New England, to represent the Revolution in U.S. Soccer’s Development Academy, which plays games and tournaments across the United States.

Kelvin joined Project GOAL in 2006 and attends Central Falls High School in Central Falls, Rhode Island. Kelvin joined the Rhode Island Olympic Development Program (ODP) through Project GOAL, chosen to the Region 1 Select Team, and was chosen to represent the United States on the 2007 Under 14 Boys National Team.

New England Revolution Director of Youth Development, Karl Edmonds had this to say, “Kelvin is a great kid and will make an impact for us as a withdrawn striker. He recently traveled with the Revs youth team to the MLS cup and played very well for his first outing.”
